Clinical and scientific interest focuses on the study of pathogenesis, treatment and prevention of arterial and venous thromboses including acute coronary syndromes, atrial fibrillation, pulmonary embolism. Under the guidance of E.P. Panchenko 9 PhD theses and 2 doctoral theses were defended. She is the author of more than 200 publications devoted to the problem of diagnostics of thrombosis and antithrombotic therapy in domestic and foreign journals. She is the author of three monographs devoted to the treatment of arterial and venous thrombosis, stroke prevention in patients with atrial fibrillation, as well as sections devoted to antithrombotic therapy in a manual on angiology edited by Academician A.V. Pokrovsky, in a manual on cardiovascular diseases edited by Academician E.I. Chazov, etc. Member of the author's team for writing national guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of acute coronary syndrome, atrial fibrillation, venous thromboembolic complications, stable manifestations of atherothrombosis.

She is the head of the educational school for doctors dedicated to the problem of thrombosis and antithrombotic therapy, organized under the auspices of the National Society for ATherothrombosis (NSAT) and the Russian Cardiology Society (RCS). Deputy editor-in-chief of the specialized journal "Atherothrombosis", which is included in the list of publications recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation.
