Shalaev S.V. heads the Regional Cardiologic Dispensary, established under the Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1, Tyumen, which is the clinical base of the Department of Cardiology of the Advanced Training Faculty and professional training. Professor S.V. Shalaev is the author of more than 470 scientific papers, 4 inventions in the field of cardiology, co-author of four monographs, author of the monograph “Acute Coronary Syndromes. Selected issues of diagnosis and treatment”, co-author of 1 textbook “Therapy”, co-author of four manuals and guidelines for doctors in cardiology. With the scientific guidance of prof. S.V. Shalaev 8 doctoral and 58 candidate dissertations in cardiology were defended. S.V. Shalaev is a member of the Experts Committee of the Russian Society of Cardiology on the development of national guidelines for the treatment of acute coronary syndromes, myocardial infarction, dyslipidemia, arterial hypertension, acute heart failure.
