In 1996, after graduating from the residency, he was hired as a laboratory researcher by the Department of Angiology of the Research Institute of Clinical Cardiology named after A.L. Myasnikov of the RCRPC Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. In 2001 he defended his thesis on "The effect of combination therapy with antiplatelet and lipid-lowering drugs on fibrinogen content, platelet function and lipid metabolism index in patients with advanced atherosclerosis." Since 2000 he had been a junior researcher, and since 2002 he has been a research assistant at the Laboratory of Clinical Problems of Atherothrombosis, the Institute of Clinical Cardiology named after A.L. Myasnikov. He has a certificate of a cardiologist.

He is engaged in medical diagnostic, research work in accordance with the themes of the laboratory. Since 2003 the core aspects of scientific activity are: the study of "residual platelet reactivity" the issues of antithrombotic therapy in patients with atherosclerotic lesions of various localization; effectiveness evaluation of new antithrombotic drugs. He is co-author of 53 scientific papers.
